Don Harold Hicks

Don Harold Hicks, age 86 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 in Nashville. He was born July 29, 1930 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Benjamin Franklin and Autie Kinsey Hicks.
He was a retired Restaurant retailer and a Navy veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and golfing. He was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Hicks was an avid photographer and was a past president of the Arkansas Photographers’ Association.
Preceding him in death other than his parents, was his wife Wanda Hicks, 1 son; Blake Hicks, 1 grandson; Alex Hicks, and 8 brothers and sisters.
His survivors include;
1 son, Rick and wife Ann Hicks of Nashville
1 daughter; Donna and husband Jim Erickson of Recede, California
Grandchildren; Courtney Hicks of Austin, Tx.
Chase Hicks of Texarkana
Casey and husband Drew Squires of North Little Rock
Nieces, nephews and other family and friends too numerous to name.
A visitation will be held Sunday August 7, 2016 at Nashville Funeral Home from 3 to 5 pm.
A memorial service will be Monday August 8, 2016 at 2 pm. At J.A. Funk Funeral Home in Malvern with a visitation following the service.
