Obituary for Ramona Jamison (Ball)


Ramona Ball Jamison, age 87 of Nashville, Arkansas went home to our Lord on May 24, 2016. She was born August 9, 1928 in Nashville, Arkansas. She and her husband Lecil started and managed Jamison Cleaners in 1950 where over the years she was receptionist and seamstress at the cleaners. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Nashville.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lecil Jamison of Nashville, granddaughter, Lakey Kersh of Mena, grandson, Michael Jamison and wife Misty of Nashville, granddaughter, Heather Applegate and her husband Adam of Nashville, and five great grandchildren – Tristen Jamison, Gauge Applegate, Gavin Applegate, Lucas Liggin, Alex Liggin and a host of friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Veatrice Ball, her two sisters, Snow Campbell, and Ora Jean Sullivan, her brother, Olen Ball, daughter, Jerry Beth Alderman of Mena, son Lecil Jack Jamison of Nashville and her granddaughter Jamie Lee Kersh.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 26 at the Nashville Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. A graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, Friday, May 27, 2016 with Bro. David Blasé and John Jamison officiating at 10:00 am.
