Donna Jean Caldwell Henderson, age 82 of Nashville, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 27, 2011 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born September 18, 1928 in Youngstown, Pa. to the late Robert D. and G. Ruth Kells Caldwell.

She had retired in 1981 from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she had worked for 32 years. She was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church in Nashville. Donna dearly loved her church, and had served on numerous committees.
and loved traveling with her children and grandchildren. She was very adventurous. Donna was quick to help someone else first; she loved volunteering with the Christian Health Clinic of Howard County. She was knowledgeable about wildlife, she loved birds, flowers, crafts, cooking (which she was very good at) especially her fruit cake cookies.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, G.W. Henderson on June 10, 2001

2 daughters, Cindy and husband John David Crisp of Texarkana, Texas
Patta and husband Mike Baumstark of Dallas Texas
2 Grandchildren, John Crisp, Jr. and wife Kelley of Texarkana, Texas
Allie McKee of Dallas, Texas
2 Nephews, Donnie and wife Paula Stone of Nashville, Arkansas
Joe and wife Melanie Lewis of Nashville, Arkansas
Also her church family and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10 am. at First United Methodist Church in Nashville with Paul Coy officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 6 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Nashville, or to the Christian Health Clinic of Howard County.
